Customizable Exams
You can choose to customise any exam to your exact requirements using our Exam Builder Wizard. The Exam builder wizard allows you to choose the exact topics to be tested and control the number of questions assigned to any one topic. This allows you to balance the exam as you require and weight the focus on topics you most wish your candidate to be tested on.
Test Centre Administration.
Easy to administer, simply register a company administrator with us.

Web Reports
On-line reports assessing your candidate's performance are published to your account.
Strengths and Weaknesses
For Static Classic exams and Adaptive Plus exams a web report identifies the candidates' strengths and weaknesses within individual topics.
However please note that this report is not available for Classic Adaptive exams because potentially too few items are presented to the candidate to accurately identify strengths and weaknesses.
Questions Database
Manage your own questions, construct your own topics/subtopics and examination modules.
Question Styles
- Multiple choice with radio button (select one);
- Multiple choice with checkbox (select many);
- Fill In (Typed Answer);
- Dropdown Select;
Attachments
Write questions based on the content of a diagram (e.g UML) or code extract etc.
Simpy attach a GIF or JPEG as an attachment to any question. Exam user simply clicks to view.
Automated Notifications
Job Candidate Notification - this advises a job candidate of a scheduled
exam event, advises them of the WebXaminer exam centre URL to visit in order
to sit the test, together with their login and password.
Customer Notification - immediate notification of the exam result to you the
customer, including an assessment of the candidates' strengths and
weaknesses.
Exam Builder Wizard
Customize exams to your specific requirements using our Exam Builder Wizard.
Choose from a list of topics/sub topics.
Exams are built (auto generated) from a random set of questions in the
selected topics.
Exam Templates
Use our pre-configured exam templates or create your own exam templates.
Templates are a useful tool used to periodically refresh an exam by
replacing all of its existing questions with a new set of questions.
This addresses the typical use case scenario whereby the exam administrator
wishes to retain the existing structure of the exam (topics and sub topics)
but wants to assign new questions in those same topics.
Multiple Levels of Difficulty
You can configure the exams overall level of difficulty by specifying the
mix of questions the exam should contain according to question difficulty.
All WebXaminer questions are assigned a difficulty weighting (Novice,
Practitioner or Expert). In adaptive tests more credit is given relative to
the difficulty of the question.
Random Question Selection
A pool of questions is held on our questions database for each exam topic.
When an exam is auto-generated random questions are taken from the pool and assigned to the exams question set.
And again when any exam is re-generated then a different (random) set of questions will be re-assigned.
Random Question Engine.
Our random question engine configures a unique question set each time the exam is executed.
Practice users will not be able to remember answers based on the position of the answer in the multiple choice list of options.
This ensures a more demanding test of knowledge for practice users using WebXaminer as a practice aid for certification.
Partially correct answers.
Each exam can set its own rule as to whether credit is given to partially
correct answers.
Automatic restart on broken connection.
If any kind of server connection failure occurs the exam will be restarted from the point at which the connection was broken.
Windows/Unix/Linux Installation Packs
All customer access to the WebXaminer Test Centre is available as a Web
Service, however local installation packs for Windows, Unix Linux are
available if required.
